John Duncan - Pleasure Escape (1985)

Sorry for late update, I got lots of things going on- including changing my computer and stereo set etc...

Anyway, here's the infamous John Duncan's Pleasure Escape album. I was kinda hooked right after first I listened, because not the John's "performance art" recorded in this album, but how he make a theme/story in a track which just sounds like sleeping with a recording device. And the second track : "Move Forward, Film Soundtrack" was also great, reminding me of the track "Broken Promise" which included John's album Organic but more intense.

But, for someone trying to buy this album, I really recommend to buy the one with the insert book. like other albums released on B-Sellers, this one also have a small book with it, and it's quite interesting to watch. (Photos, interviews, writings...)

Again, this album doesn't contain explicit content but a theme is. For someone doesn't familiar with this album or John Duncan I recommend to searching about this album first.

Various Artists - Sound Cosmodel (1984)

Just as you can see in Discogs page, this is 50 track compilation / sampler album from Japanese underground label Atelier Peyotl, which only I can guess it has relations with label B-Sellers and EP-4. Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, there are 50 tracks and not just limited in Japanese artists but other countries artists like Conrad Schnitzler to Mexican New Wave band Size. But since there's 25 tracks per side, many tracks seems cut after 1 minute or so. In my opinion, this album is great to find new artists and their music style, and even maybe useful for DJ Mixes, but since genres and styles of each tracklist order is quite different and it ruins the flow, but I'm not saying this is bad compilation. Included artists are very interesting and it's great album to find a new artist or style.

The Gerogerigegege - Senzuri Champion (1987; Original)

Yeah, it's The Gerogerigegege's famous second album (First vinyl album), spent nearly 500$ on this, but worth it totally. Senzuri Champion album got a quite a different vibe then first one, (since first self titled album was Industrial) but very impressing thing about this album was each tracks got a very own theme, plus the parodied track titles like Southern All Stars' I'm A Panty (Yes I Am) to I'm Herpes, Yes I Am, it's just priceless.

*If you not familiar with the Gero's theme, beware that there are some moaning (?) sound at some track.

And, the vote results was two votes at Tenjo Sajiki's Shintokumaru and Sound Cosmodel album. So I'll upload two of them in this month and other one vote albums in next month.

BGM - Back Ground Music (1980)

I waited nearly 2 years for this album and finally got 2 of them, but NM quality album is still not arrived. (France to S.Korea by ship, maybe take 90 days or so.) so uploaded version is VG quality. I'll upload NM version as soon as arrived.

Anyway, this is one of my favorite Electronic album. Not quite impact as Dada - Jyo (Vanity 0001) to me, but each track in this album has more variety (especially main instruments of each tracks) than Jyo, since that album has main concept : inspired by Gaki Zoshi, and dedicated to Eno according to Discogs.

EP-4 - Reb-Do (1982)

I was spending nearly 10 hours to find a reason why cassette recording with my old Sony Cassette / CD player suddenly made a static sound in background and tracks sounds like very compressed. It took quite of time to know because this happened right after getting new aux cord, and upgraded OS to Windows 10. After upgrading and downgrading OS like 5 time after, my old Walkman solved the question. Cassette player was the problem.

Anyway, it's the early Abstract genre album from Electric Funk band EP-4. and it's worth the 10 hours of stress for me at least.

Like there's no name of EP-4 in this album, it's quite different than EP-4's later albums. But it made connection and understanding with some of EP-4's tracks like (unit 3) from Case Of Telegraph Product 2.

Noise - Tenno (1980)

I was wonder why Reiko Kudo's Fire Inside My Hat album is quite rare than other Org Record's albums since looking some albums released by Org, but this album made by one of her group "Noise" answered that question.

And of course, earlier Org Records albums are mostly limited.

Anyway, genre of this album is Experimental / Noise according to Discogs and my ear, but in my opinion I think this album have different vibe than other common Noise genre albums but very emotional as well, because of Tori Kudo's Organ and Reiko Kudo's Vocals.

If you liked it, buy original ALM Records version (or Org Records reissue) while it's cheap for a one of ALM's interesting albums.

And for addition, INU - Ushiwakamaru Name Tottarado Tsuitaru Zo! (aka live album), BGM - Back Ground Music and J.A. Seazer's - Den'en Ni Shisu album is coming soon, it's all original version except postal service is very slow.
